Bowhunting Council of Oklahoma
Family Bowfishing Tournaments - 2012
The Bowhunting Council of Oklahoma will host three (3) family bowfishing tournaments on Lake Eufaula.

Rules
All Oklahoma fishing and boating laws apply.
Lake Eufaula boundaries. (Above Dam)
Boats must be present at check in.
Trailering boats is allowed.
Wading is allowed.
Each team must have a team name.
Tournament safety policy - Teams must call organizers if not planning to return for weigh in.

Team Make up
No more than four (4) adult members per team age eighteen (18) and over.
Kids seventeen (17) and under shoot free.
Team size will depend on your boat capacity according to the Oklahoma Boating laws.

Cost/Prizes
Prizes will be determined by tournament organizers.

Weigh In - Two Categories
Total number - Teams will be judged by the
total number of fish harvested.  Weigh in penalties will consist of one fish per minute up to 30 minutes.  Teams will be disqualified after 30 minutes.

Big Four - Teams Big Four will be judged by weight.   A one pound penalty per minute up to 30 minutes.  Teams will be disqualified after 30 minutes.  Big Four check in will consist of no more than one each of the following;
Buffalo, Carp, Grass Carp, and Gar.

Ten dollars ($10) per adult team member.

All tournament participants will be required to sign the “Agreement to Indemnify, Hold Harmless, Repair or Replace and Waiver of Liability.”  Participants under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by an adult who assumes all liability for such minor.
The Bowhunting Council of Oklahoma and its representatives are not responsible for accidents.
