The above pictures are from the 2008 Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Expo.  We hope to see everyone at the 2009 Expo making it bigger and better than ever!

     

     

These are pictures sent by a parent of the "Archery in the Schools" Oklahoma State Championship.  Those of us that were lucky enough to go had a blast.  These kids are really serious about their archery and we saw some fantastic shooting.  I know I plan to go again next year!

BCO Awards Banquet 2010  - We all had a good time.  Bill Starry did a great seminar on the MCAAP and Jeff Steele & Bob Littlefield did bow tuning and setting up a new bow.  A special thanks to Jenny & Lela (I never got any pictures of them) for the Hospitality Room.  And, as usual, Rhonda had everything well organized.

    There were a record number of animals to be scored.

BCO members - send your photos to be posted on our website.  Any digital photo of 3D shoots, harvests legally taken in season.  We ask that photos be in good taste.

Tips for taking harvest photos:

  • Take the photo in a natural background.
  • Clean up your harvest from excessive show of blood.
  • Make sure the tongue is not sticking out of the mouth.  (hunter or harvest)
  • Avoid sitting on animal.
  • Have your bow in the photo with you.
  • Smile!
